The Addict- Episode 3

Adeoti's Father was the first to arrive at Mr Brown's office. Mr Brown was in so much hurry to narrate what happened..... Mr Ajayi, Adeoti's Dad was not pleased to hear what was on ground but he was certain his son would never do drugs
"Emmmm, I know this is a stain on this prestigious institution but you see, Mr Brown.... My son here is well trained and would never involve himself in anything that would bring shame to my good name".
"He would observe the suspension but I put it to you that my son is no bad egg!"
To Adeoti "Go get your bags, the driver is waiting"
"Have a good day Mr Brown!"
Mr Brown just stood beside his seat and said nothing.
Mrs Adewale bumped into Mr Ajayi on her way into Mr Brown's office...
She just picked her purse that fell and passed him without apologising..
"Mr Brown, what exactly happened?... I came immediately I got your call"
Mrs Adewale broke down in tears when she learnt of the situation...
She apologized to the school.
She went straight to Mrs Okachi's office but didn't meet her .....
She ordered Tolu to pack his bags and they both left the school premises....
Mrs Adewale was so ashamed of herself that she didn't say a word to Tolu on their way home..
The car was so silent that the sound of a pin drop could be heard!
They got home after a three hours drive.
Musa helped with the bags, Tolu was about climbing the stairs to his room when he heard his mother's voice
"How could you Tolu?"
"After all it took me to get you into that school ".
"I'm sorry Mom, but you caused this" came the response..
Mrs Adewale was dumbfounded...
Tolu left her in the living room to his room .....
Weeks went by and there wasn't a call from Tolu's school.
Tolu who was still into drugs grew lean everyday.... He became addicted
His mother observed and decided to seek a doctor's help...
The doctor advised that Tolu should be taken to a rehabilitation home.

"Definitely, he missed a year so he would have to start afresh"
"Mrs Adewale, I would advice you move Tolu to another school due to stigmatization, his mental health is really important"
Mrs Adewale thanked her and Ended the call.
The next day, she called a friend who was a lecturer at Sapphire University inquiring about admission for her son.
Fortunately, their form was closing in two weeks.
Tolu bought the form, sat for his post utme and came out in flying colours...
