The Addict- Episode one

The angry 15 year old Tolu ran after Obi who rushed into his father's car immediately the school bell rang.
  Tolu and Obi had a big quarrel in school, Obi called Tolu a bastard.
This got Toluwalase very upset and he promised to give Obi 
"a beating he wouldn't forget to tell his children" as he called it.
  Nevertheless he was still going to seek his mother's advice whether to beat up Obi or let the matter rest.
 As he rushed back home, he missed a step and hit his leg against a big stone
" Oh! " He exclaimed in pain
" I will deal with that Obi mercilessly tommorow".
  Tolu banged the gate so hard that it woke mallam Musa who had been sleeping for 2 hours
" Kao, na who wan break am for my madam gate"  he said in his Hausa accent.
"It's Tolu, open the gate Musa"
Mallam Musa opened the gate to an angry Tolu with very red eyes
" Who vex am for my prend"
Mallam Musa asked but he got no reply as Tolu hurried into the house
 " MOTHER!"
 "Mother, Obi called me a bastard"
He continued in tears as he rushed upstairs to his mother's room
 He opened Mrs Adewale's room with all his strength.
Alas! His mother was sitted in front of her dressing mirror with her face covered in white substance 
Tolu just stood in the room covered with sweats, dumbfounded.

Mrs Adewale was surprised to see her son, she wasn't expecting to see him so early, it was Just 3pm!
He didn't wait for his extra lessons!
"What kind of child is this?" 

She asked aloud but Tolu couldn't find any words.

The reason Tolu was there made no sense again.
He had even forgotten that Obi called him a bastard some minutes ago.

Tolu's mother gathered herself together and could now find some real words for her child. " It's a drug for my illness" She finally said. "I forgot to tell you I visited the Hospital, the drug is quite expensive dear" she continued. Tolu was a bit calm now but he already forgot the reason he was there. He just picked his bag from the floor and left to have his bath. ***** Tolu came out of the shower and laid on his bed wondering what kind of drug that was and what it cured, it was so strange! He didn't come down till 7pm for dinner.
